Early in the morning, depart Kampala for Lake Mburo National Park toughly 5 hours drive from Kampala. You shall have a brief stop at the equator and proceed on a drive. You will reach Lake Mburo National park in the noontime, check in and have lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, join a boat rise on Lake Mburo located in the heart of the park from which a park was named Lake Mburo. Look out to the shores of Lake Mburo for various birds such as Brown chested lawing, Papyrus gonolek, Yellow rumped tinker bird, Bare faced o away bird, Black bellied Bustard, Coqui Francolin, Common Scimitar bill, Grey Snipe and African fin foot among others. You will also see various water animals such as crocodiles, hippos and monitor lizards resting lazily on the shores of Lake Mburo
Day 2: Game viewing & departure
This great day of game viewing in Lake Mburo National park is finally here! Wakeup very early and go for a guided game drive to see numerous wild animals feeding in open savannahs. Lake Mburo National park is home to a variety of wild animals such as Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalos, Uganda kobs, Impalas, Elands, Burchell’s zebra, bushbucks, waterbucks and leopards among others. June to August and December to February is the best time for game viewing in Lake Mburo National park when animals gather at water points for drinking water. Have lunch at the lodge and rive back to Kampala
