The 1-Day Rwanda gorilla trek to Volcanoes National Park is a suitable package for short time travelers. At 3:30 am, your professional driver guide from our company will pick you up from Kigali International airport or from your hotel in Kigali, have a brief introduction to the trip and drive north westwards to Volcanoes National Park. Drive time from Kigali to Volcanoes Park is roughly 3 hours with scenic views of Rwanda’s rolling hills, local communities and farms.
Arrive at Kinigi Park headquarters at 7:00am, join a pre gorilla trekking briefing about the dos and donts of gorilla trekking. At 2:00am, you will start up a hike into the jungle in search for the allocated gorilla family. The trekking time vary between 30 minutes to over 6 hours but you are assured of meeting the gentle giants at the end of the trek. On meeting the gorillas, you will spend an hour in their company, enjoy and learn their social lifestyles, take pictures, capture videos and enjoy this lifetime experience. In the evening, drive back to Kigali to your hotel or the airport for your return flight
